MEDICAL pedicure<\/b> deals with the problem of feet, such as,<\/span> ingrown<\/span><\/a> and fungal nails, fingerprints and corns, ragade, excessively horny skin, warts, etc. Medical pedicure can therefore only be performed by a professionally qualified person. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is a preventive, therapeutic or even rehabilitative care of healthy or already injured feet,<\/strong> while a classic pedicure treats only healthy feet. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is recommended that medical pedicure be performed only by a professionally qualified person (certified pedicurist). Don\u2019t forget to check between the toes and use a mirror to help check the soles of your feet.<\/span><\/li>
  • Wash your feet with warm flowing water and mild soap. Check the temperature with your hand if you have sensitive feet and be careful not to get open wounds wet.<\/span><\/li>
  • Dry your feet with a soft towel paying attention to between the toes.<\/span><\/li>
  • Massage your feet with a neutral moisturizer or other cream but not between the toes.<\/span><\/li>
  • Wear clean socks and comfortable shoes. Always buy shoes in the afternoon so that you have been on your feet for some time \u2013 feet are usually smaller in the morning. The inside of the shoe should be smooth soft leather and socks should be without rough stitches.<\/span><\/li>
  • If you have swollen feet wear laced shoes or shoes with Velcro fasteners so you can adjust the fitting.<\/span><\/li>
  • If you are prone to cold feet wear warm socks, even at night if necessary. Don\u2019t warm your feet with heated cushions or other heated devices as you could very easily burn yourself without knowing.<\/span><\/li>
  • Trim your nails so that they are level with the edge of toe especially if you have pain to the touch and always wear shoes that fit correctly.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Don\u2019t walk barefoot if you lack sensitivity in your feet.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
